About the role
- Supports research faculty with department level preparation of grant applications to ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Drafts documents and assists the coordination of activities with sponsors, investigators, and other departmental staff.
- Initiates at the department level some post-award research activities.
- Participates in select research projects as assigned, including pilot projects or efforts to support grant applications.
- Participates in program development activities including tracking metrics, developing website content, and academic events and activities.
- Attends departmental meetings; participates in continued professional development and required institutional educational activities.
- Other activities to support the ongoing research development within the department as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
