About the role

  • Contribute to conducting two NIH-funded studies.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the study, including preparing and managing IRB submissions.
  • Online participant recruitment (e.g., creating and distributing advertisements, monitoring recruitment channels, reviewing screener data).
  • Programming surveys.
  • Corresponding with participants (e.g., responding to emails and texts).
  • Paying participants.
  • Assisting with other project-related tasks as needed.
  • Opportunities to contribute to manuscripts and conference presentations using data from this and other studies, including potentially leading manuscripts.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in social/behavioral/health sciences or a related field (e.g., psychology, public health, nursing, sociology) or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required with Associate's Degree, or 1 year of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience interacting with research participants.
  • Experience using survey programming software (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics).
  • Experience using data processing software (e.g., SPSS).
