About the role

  • Work as part of our New Ways of Working (NWOW) pilot team on live fitness to practise investigations
  • Help design and refine the future of our casework processes
  • Support Case Owners with case progression, including interviewing witnesses, drafting interview plans, drafting witness statements and drafting case completion reports throughout the lifecycle of investigations
  • Ensure cases progress efficiently and in line with agreed standards
  • Contribute to and take ownership of improvements to investigation processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to proactively plan, prioritise, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working within defined regulations and following established procedures
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, sometimes with sensitivities
  • Highly motivated and collaborative, able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Problem-solving mindset and proven casework experience gained as a paralegal (in house or private practice) or in a comparable caseholding role, preferably in a regulatory context
