Part-Time Sales Associate – Outbound

Artificial Intelligence

• Own the AI-powered content library — Design and build the enablement content reps use to work leads, handle objections, and close deals. Every asset is AI-assisted, data-informed, and built to be updated as performance signals evolve — not a static deck that ages out in three months.
• Mine sales data to identify capability gaps — Pull signal from Salesforce, Salted CX, and call data to understand where rep performance breaks down. Turn that into a prioritised content roadmap. You don’t guess what reps need — you read it in the data.
• Iterate content based on performance outcomes — Track whether content actually changes behaviour. If conversion doesn’t move after a module goes live, you go back into the data, find out why, and rebuild. Every asset has a before/after record.
• Embed AI tools into the sales workflow — Identify where AI can reduce rep effort or sharpen rep judgment — call prep, objection handling, pitch sequencing — and build the content that makes adoption practical and sticky.
• Build for scale, not for yourself — Everything you create can be updated, used, and adapted by a rep or manager without your direct involvement. You are building a system, not running a program.

Procurement

• Define and maintain category deal standards, including margins, payment terms, deal structures (single/multi PDS), options, and taxonomy.
• Ensure every deal meets Groupon’s profitability and quality standards, balancing merchant ROI with customer value.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of B2B marketing materials and category-specific sales scripts, including key selling points and objection handling.
• Own and maintain the category landing page, ensuring content reflects strategy, demand, and key partnerships.
• Collaborate with the Training team to train and certify Sales reps on category-specific standards.

Business Development Rep

• Develop and close new national and multi-market Enterprise opportunities using your network, outbound outreach, research, and inbound pipeline
• Re-engage Enterprise merchants that are lapsed or have not recently featured on the platform
• Lead high-quality prospecting into targeted, high-value accounts using a consultative, solution-led approach
• Own the full sales cycle from identification → outreach → pitch → negotiation → deal close
• Understand each merchant’s business model, target audience, competitive landscape, and revenue drivers
• Craft compelling, data-backed offer structures aligned with merchant and Groupon objectives
• Negotiate complex commercial parameters (margin, caps, pricing, unit economics, operational terms) within guidelines
• Work closely with Merchant Development to ensure a smooth transition post-close and alignment on long-term merchant strategy
