Director

• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans with the Board of Directors to scale the Foundation’s reach and impact
• Supervise, inspire, and coordinate daily workflows for the volunteer network, including board members, and 2 paid consultants
• Ensure legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance for nonprofit operations
• Support founders and board members as public representatives and ensure cohesive messaging
• Enhance brand awareness through multimedia content, social media strategy, and digital communications
• Build relationships with partners, donors, healthcare professionals, and institutional stakeholders
• Oversee peer support groups, research initiatives, and specialized committees
• Design and drive an annual fundraising strategy and timeline
• Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget
• Partner with the Board Treasurer to deliver regular, accurate financial reports

Executive Director

• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, promoting its mission and vision.
• Advocate for policies, programs, and services that benefit individuals with I/DD and their families.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to influence legislation and public policy.
• Represent the organization in public hearings, legislative sessions, and policymaking forums to advance the organization’s policy agenda.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive policy agenda in collaboration with the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to state and federal legislative and regulatory developments affecting individuals with I/DD.
• Build coalitions and partnerships to strengthen advocacy efforts and promote equitable policy outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, program delivery, and resource allocation.

Administration

• Oversee the Foundation's day-to-day operations, keeping them organized, on schedule, and running smoothly.
• Support the President, Board, and committees, and manage the Foundation's records, calendar, and deadlines.
• Administer the Foundation's grantmaking across its board grant cycles and member-match program.
• Manage the Foundation's budget and accounts, track expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Plan and manage the Foundation's two annual meetings, including venue selection, logistics, and on-site coordination.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Members, Directors, and grantees.
• Advance the Foundation's technology, website, and record-keeping.
