About the role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors and clients
- Build, manage and maintain a sales pipeline, including lead generation, outreach and opportunity tracking
- Support the team with pitches, proposals and conversion of opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers, partner agencies and collaborators
- Monitor market trends, client needs and competitive activity to inform business development strategy
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy to increase our visibility across healthcare communications and the wider health sector
- Manage our online presence, ensuring all messaging is consistent, clear and aligned with the Chemistry We Create proposition
- Contribute to internal planning, processes and continuous improvement of business development approaches
- Support the planning and delivery of networking or industry events where relevant to new business activity
Requirements
- Experience in business development ideally within a healthcare agency environment
- Strong commercial awareness with an interest in driving sustainable growth
- Familiarity with the ABPI and other regulatory environments
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and presentations
- Experience supporting or leading pitches, proposals and opportunity conversion
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels such as websites, email and social media
- Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with others
