About the role

  • Responsible for delivery of Direct to Consumer (D2C) Ecommerce technology solutions leading design, architecture, and development across the D2C tech stack
  • Analyze consumer data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance direct-to-consumer initiatives
  • Overall platform architecture supporting Hershey’s Ecommerce tech stack including Commerce, OMS, WMS, and supporting processes
  • Define functional requirements and translate for delivery by technical partners
  • Lead projects coordinating multiple IT teams and stakeholders to meet business requirements and timelines
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance of DTC initiatives
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and other departments to ensure data integration and support for DTC strategies
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
  • Deliver system enhancements to add capabilities and optimize & automate processes
  • Roadmap and sprint planning to facilitate delivery of system enhancements driving D2C growth
  • Produce monthly operational performance reports detailing key metrics, trends, and actionable insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years implementing or managing Ecommerce solutions in Retail/CPG leveraging SalesForce Commerce cloud or similar packaged SaaS solutions
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting technical platforms and design of Ecommerce storefronts and implementations
  • 3+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Less, Jquery and related web technologies
  • 3+ Experience with middleware technologies and designing integrations from multiple environments leveraging an API-based approach
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze large datasets and proficiency in SQL, Python, or R and PowerBI
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Additional experience in CRM systems, Customer Data (CDP) platforms, Payments industry, digital marketing, Point-of-sale, and agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a STEM related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data & systems analysis, preferably within the consumer packaged goods or retail industry
