About the role

  • Support the delivery of HR operational excellence by driving project activities.
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely execution under the direction of the Head of HR Operations & Compliance.
  • Provide the admin support required to gather information and conduct audits.
  • Advise on current best practices and legislation to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Track and close off audit actions to maintain clear audit trails.
  • Review existing policies, processes & SOP’s.
  • Draft new policies, processes & SOP’s.
  • Review existing variations of employment contracts.
  • Draft proposals for compliant employment contracting.
  • Draft clear processes to manage visas, including sponsorship.
  • Support the review of the existing HRIS system (IRIS) and its potential capabilities.
  • Audit existing data availability and integrity.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and provide regular updates to the Head of HR Operations & Compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, including HR Operations and HR generalist experience.
  • Proven experience in contract design and HR compliance across UK and international contexts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with visa sponsorship, ideally including process set up
  • Experience working in the humanitarian or international development sectors
  • Working knowledge of HRIS implementation
