About the role
- Support the delivery of HR operational excellence by driving project activities.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely execution under the direction of the Head of HR Operations & Compliance.
- Provide the admin support required to gather information and conduct audits.
- Advise on current best practices and legislation to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Track and close off audit actions to maintain clear audit trails.
- Review existing policies, processes & SOP’s.
- Draft new policies, processes & SOP’s.
- Review existing variations of employment contracts.
- Draft proposals for compliant employment contracting.
- Draft clear processes to manage visas, including sponsorship.
- Support the review of the existing HRIS system (IRIS) and its potential capabilities.
- Audit existing data availability and integrity.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and provide regular updates to the Head of HR Operations & Compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, including HR Operations and HR generalist experience.
- Proven experience in contract design and HR compliance across UK and international contexts
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects in complex, matrixed organisations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with visa sponsorship, ideally including process set up
- Experience working in the humanitarian or international development sectors
- Working knowledge of HRIS implementation
