About the role

  • Lead the design and delivery of ambitious place strategies and plans.
  • Support critical local and regional plans—from growth strategies to investment prospectuses.
  • Drive strategic partnerships from concept to execution, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate affairs, political, local government, or civil service roles.
  • Ability to turn strategic concepts into practical delivery programmes - hands on project delivery is essential to this role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Government workings and regional/devolved policy.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills at senior levels.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, leadership, change management, and political awareness.
