About the role

  • Conduct cross program reviews of documentation from students seeking accommodations on College Board tests
  • Produce accurate and well-reasoned eligibility determinations
  • Handle direct verbal and written communications with secondary schools, education professionals, parents/guardians, and test-takers
  • Educate the caller about the review and appeal processes
  • Maintain communication with relevant professional organizations
  • Use various databases to gather relevant student data
  • Consult and collaborate with colleagues from both intra and interdisciplinary professions
  • Produce materials that provide information relevant to accommodations on College Board tests

Requirements

  • Psy.D./Ph.D. degree in relevant psychological education area
  • 4 to 6 years of direct work experience as a professional in the practice of psychological/educational assessment in secondary school or postsecondary level
  • Knowledge of secondary school issues/trends related to test-takers with disabilities
  • Extensive knowledge of assessments and procedures as they relate to the determination of various disabilities and appropriate accommodations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Instructional/training skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously and prioritize judiciously
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Strong orientation toward growth, with an ability to give and receive feedback
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the USA
