About the role
- Conduct cross program reviews of documentation from students seeking accommodations on College Board tests
- Produce accurate and well-reasoned eligibility determinations
- Handle direct verbal and written communications with secondary schools, education professionals, parents/guardians, and test-takers
- Educate the caller about the review and appeal processes
- Maintain communication with relevant professional organizations
- Use various databases to gather relevant student data
- Consult and collaborate with colleagues from both intra and interdisciplinary professions
- Produce materials that provide information relevant to accommodations on College Board tests
Requirements
- Psy.D./Ph.D. degree in relevant psychological education area
- 4 to 6 years of direct work experience as a professional in the practice of psychological/educational assessment in secondary school or postsecondary level
- Knowledge of secondary school issues/trends related to test-takers with disabilities
- Extensive knowledge of assessments and procedures as they relate to the determination of various disabilities and appropriate accommodations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Instructional/training skills
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously and prioritize judiciously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong orientation toward growth, with an ability to give and receive feedback
- Authorized to work for any employer in the USA
