About the role
- Lead a team of quality systems and auditing professionals to uphold the highest standards of product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across NAOU Supply Chain.
- Set strategic direction for quality systems and risk management, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee independent, risk-based audits of company-owned and co-manufacturing facilities to verify conformance to TCCC’s quality and food safety standards.
- Analyze key food safety and quality performance indicators across sites to assess business risk and enhance audit effectiveness.
- Lead the development and reporting of organizational metrics to improve audit and system performance.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategy and enhance food safety, quality, and audit practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for audit initiatives.
- Represent the audit function in cross-functional forums and contribute to broader supply chain and quality strategies.
- Lead capability building initiatives for HACCP, including hands-on training, internal auditing programs, and train-the-trainer sessions to strengthen site-level competencies.
- Mentor and develop audit team members, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented environment.
- Influence and align with senior stakeholders to drive transformation and change management across the supply chain.
- Provide strategic oversight of risk management practices, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of operational and compliance risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- HACCP/ PCQI Certification required
- 10+ years in quality, food safety, or auditing roles within FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven leadership experience in leading large-scale transformation programs and change management.
- Experience with implementation of quality assurance, quality control, and management system programs and activities (e.g. HACCP, GFSI, ISO9000 / 22000, SPC, continuous improvement methodologies etc.)
- Experience with digital quality and compliance systems (e.g., EtQ, SAP, data analytics platforms) to support audit execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
- Experience with comprehensive root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with and exposure to lean / six sigma tools and methodologies
- Understanding of the importance of technical governance in delivering a quality product
- Demonstrated evidence of critical thinking, logic, patience, reasoning, empathy, continuous learning, and development.
