About the role

  • Challenging and rewarding high-impact leadership position; specifically supporting Clorox, Glad, Kingsford, Hidden Valley Ranch, Fresh Step, Brita and Burt's Bees.
  • Orchestrates cross-functional direct and broker Teams to manage complex Wholesaler across several Regions and geographies.
  • Leverages Clorox scale and influence to deliver results across full portfolio of brands.
  • Learn the GM mindset, via hands-on approach.
  • Responsible for developing plans, linked to Clorox strategies through joint business planning process.
  • Engages People as Business Owners: Coaches, develops, empowers team members as appropriate.
  • Trains, educates and develops Broker and builds mutual accountability.
  • Develop individual capabilities to promote a sustainable growth mindset.
  • Enhanced communication and visibility: Direct interaction with mid-Sr leadership within both Wholesaler HQ, Regions, and indirect customers
  • Drive the Business within the business: leads execution of volume, net sales, AMPS and profit objectives for Customer team.
  • Customer Planning and Development: Understands and drives Business planning process; delivers Joint Business Plans for Customer that achieves results and is within trade budget.
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Develops team capabilities on key processes, tools and knowledge.
  • Develops strong collaborative relationships with broker partners and cross-functional resources.
  • Focuses and aligns key resources on business priorities.
  • Financial acumen: Develops Plans that enhance mutual ROI for both Clorox and customer.

  • Clear understanding of the Wholesaler 'go-to-market' direct/indirect model to influence both customer HQ and internal Clorox strategic business units.
  • People management/Broker management experience desired
  • Large Key Account Management experience; Wholesale preferred
  • Growth mindset w/ passion to WIN
  • Broker sales management experience; matrixed organization design
  • Clorox external (Field/Customer) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated pattern of results through effective “leading through others”
  • Strong Customer knowledge and skillfully applied trade-fund acumen
  • Consultative/Solution selling; ability to influence from c-suite to operations
