About the role
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial analytics within Strategic Drug Sourcing
- Lead development of financial models and forecasting tools to support sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and budget planning
- Partner cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Finance, and ESI/Cigna teams to align financial goals and drive strategic initiatives
- Deliver in-depth analysis and reporting on drug sourcing costs, supplier performance, and market trends to support executive decision-making
- Present financial insights and scenario modeling to leadership to enable rapid response to market changes and strategic opportunities
- Support ad hoc financial analysis requests and “what if” scenarios to evaluate sourcing alternatives and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead development and implementation of technical solutions, processes, and standards that impact financial performance and operational efficiency
- Drive data-informed decisions across Drug Sourcing and the broader Supply Chain organization to optimize sourcing strategies and improve financial outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree highly desired; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably within PBM, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries
- Proven ability to develop and present financial models, forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Teradata SQL, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and Tableau; experience with Alteryx and other data automation tools highly desired
- Strong technical skills in data management, financial reporting, and scenario planning
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong commitment to meeting deadlines and driving results
