About the role
- As part of the Cigna Healthcare Network Management leadership team, responsible for shaping, executing and presenting network strategy.
- Defining and executing network strategies for new solutions in partnership with enterprise leaders and local contracting teams.
- Serving as the subject matter expert on CHC network-based products for internal and external audiences.
- Educate and advise Network Contracting and Market leadership, Sales and Account Management teams, Brokers, consultants, and select clients, Provider executives and leadership teams.
- Develop and refine network product narratives, value propositions, and educational materials.
- Act as a strategic connector between Network Management and enterprise teams, including Enterprise Network Strategy, Product, Network Analytics, Clinical Strategy & Value-Based Care.
- Build relationships with business leaders across functions and ensure teams are engaged to support business strategy and execution priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of 15 years of healthcare experience including in several of the following areas: strategic planning, product and program development, network management, contract operations, medical economics.
- Expert level knowledge of network design, physician partnership / negotiation, medical, Rx, and behavioral benefits.
- Strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel (20%)
- Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating the performance of network-based solutions and strategies.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills at senior levels within and organization and external constituents.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate a strategy and direction from various, often conflicting, inputs and prioritize work and capacity of matrix teams to drive maximum earnings contribution to the organization.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills; ability to assess qualitative and quantitative impacts.
- Ability to collaborate and work across a complex matrixed organization.
