About the role
- Researching the needs of youth, YSA, local leaders, and Church employees who participate in global conferences.
- Taking ownership of specific digital products or initiatives and managing them from concept to implementation.
- Gathering and synthesizing user feedback to improve product experience and guide future enhancements.
- Creating training materials and user guides to support customers as they use digital tools and platforms.
- Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to define feature priorities, troubleshoot issues, and align experiences with Church standards.
- Creating and troubleshooting events in an event management software platform.

Requirements
- Applicants for this internship must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or they must have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within one year of beginning their internship).
- Strong understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy.
- The ability to manage many projects simultaneously.
- The ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy.
- The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism.
- Understanding of technical systems & platforms and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are taking classes in or have experience with user experience design, product strategy, human-centered design, web tools, or event technology.
- Ambitious self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and multi-project environment.
- A history of solving problems through user testing and data driven decision making.
- Experience translating UX testing and feedback into impactful new features.
- Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.
