About the role

  • Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Payroll modules (earnings, deductions, pay groups, costing, GL integrations, tax rules)
  • Collaborate with payroll product manager and business analyst to analyze requirements and create functional specifications
  • Guide developers on custom solutions (e.g., Fast Formulas) and provide functional requirements
  • Advise on feature activation, optimization, and integration with Absence Management, Time & Labor, Benefits, and Core HR
  • Ensure payroll configurations comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Propose process improvements and document configuration changes, workflows, and business processes
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT); troubleshoot and support payroll operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with a focus on Payroll configuration
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processes (earnings, deductions, taxes, compliance)
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor, Benefits)
  • Familiarity with Fast Formulas and Oracle HCM customization processes
  • Preferred: Background in software engineering or development for enhanced technical collaboration
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
