About the role
- Responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands
- Focus on On Premise Regional Restaurant Groups
- Assist in developing the entire On Premise COT
- Be proficient in systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reports
- Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business
- Maintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling
- Develop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account base
- Mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates
Requirements
- 6+ years adult alcohol beverage industry experience
- Wholesaler management and/or on premise national account management experience
- Ability to interpret data to create selling stories
- Excel proficiency
- Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
- Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
- Local travel to attend sales calls and meetings (~60%)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
