Cloud Engineer

• Cloud Architects are required to any agency setting up cloud infrastructures.
• They are needed to manage the architecture of an organizations cloud environment to ensure the scalability, agility, optimization, security, integration, compliance, and interoperability of cloud deployed capabilities.
• They bring expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions more efficiently and effectively.
• This position would be responsible for analyzing the requirements of a federal agency's applications and capabilities being built to provide an underlying foundation within the cloud to properly host and support those services.
• The Cloud Architect would work with other Cloud Engineers and Cloud Security personnel to properly define the cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment of agency systems.

Cloud Architect

IT Support

• Support the Service Desk - Weekend Team
• Collaborate with other CDC Service Desk staff
• Drive the key policies and procedures for IT Support
• Utilize the IT Support tools provided by the Customer Engagement Branch

Help Desk, Junior

• Provide polite, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Provide daily face-to-face support to U.S. military and civilian personnel, NATO military personnel, NATO Partner Nations, international students, and host nation civilians.
• Provide first-contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems.
• Attempt to resolve as many incidents as possible during first contact or at Tier I.
• Escalate detailed incidents efficiently to Tier II or Tier III support as required.
• Provide remote end-user software troubleshooting and support.
• Provide follow-up actions with customers to ensure resolution of incidents or requests.
• Provide advice and training to end users.
• May provide desk-side support to users.
• Remotely configure and upgrade computer software.
• Analyze customer needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
• Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
• Maintain the integrity and security of systems.
• Support users with completing requests for deployment of new services, as required.

• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Adhere to the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support.

• Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission-critical applications and infrastructure services.

Senior Systems Administrator

• Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit.
• Orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of mission applications and services.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, virtual servers, and application software upgrades.
• Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks including patching, application monitoring, and customer support.
• Troubleshoot network and application performance issues and recommend appropriate action.
• Collaborate with project team members, product subject matter experts, end users, and software engineers.

• Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, virtual servers, and application software upgrades.
