• Monitors and ensures compliance with all guidelines for operations

• Assists General Manager in the selection of housekeeping personnel
• Assists management staff of hotel in assuring housekeeping staff is practicing efficient and effective procedures
• Monitors linen and guest supply inventory
• Reports any maintenance repairs to maintenance staff; records repair information in maintenance log
• Completes follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms
• Assumes function of Housekeeper as necessary
• Takes control of lost and found items as appropriate
• All other duties as assigned

Operations Manager

Sales

• Provide immediate on-property sales coverage for assigned hotels
• Drive proactive sales outreach, account management, and new business development
• Maintain and grow key accounts, local negotiated, and group segments
• Support properties during staffing gaps, LOAs, onboarding, or unexpected turnover
• Assess hotel sales performance and implement short-term recovery plans
• Manage leads, RFPs, and revenue opportunities to ensure continuity
• Work collaboratively with general managers, DOSs, and regional leadership
• Travel regularly to assigned hotels within California, including overnight stays
• Additional tasks assigned by Regional Director of Sales.

Sales Manager

Manager

• Manage the hotel operations to ensure it is efficient and profitable by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with company/franchise standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, and room rates.
• Delegate authority and assign responsibility to all employees; supervise work activities of all employees.
• Ensure staff received proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures.
• Allocate funds, authorize expenditures and assist Area Director in budget planning.
• Monitor cost controls on a regular basis.
• Perform duties of a Sales and Marketing manager including making marketing calls; attending community business functions; working with travel agents and direct bill accounts; and coordinating sales promotions.
• Inspect guests’ rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
• Answer patrons’ complaints and resolve problems to maintain Guest Satisfaction.
• Handle and resolve employee issues.
• Conduct annual wage scale surveys and ensure employee wages follow wage and salary guidelines.
• Adhere to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures.
• Ensure bank deposits are made daily, including weekends and holidays.
• Ensure employee paperwork, work schedules and payroll are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Audit daily reports and process monthly paperwork.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance to company procedures.
• Be available 24/7 with reliable transportation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

General Manager

Auditor

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Makes daily deposits (as applicable)
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Monitors room availability
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager’s absence

Night Auditor

• Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager
• Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable
• Analyzes Revenue Management strategy using such tools as Star Reports, demand analysis and applicable front office systems
• Schedules sales appointments
• Conducts a required amount of cold calls
• Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data
• Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel, as applicable
• Performs functions of General Manager in General Manager’s absence
• All other duties as assigned

• Perform essential functions of a General Manager in the absence of assigned General Manager
• Provide operational and sales support to a hotel in the absence of a General Manager
• Provide support to the assigned hotel as directed by the Regional Director of Operations or other above-property management
• Assist Regional Director of Operations or other corporate personnel as needed
• Coordinate with the front office team and housekeeping team to review occupancy levels and staff labor accordingly
• Participate as an active member of the management/supervisor team
• Ensure high level of hotel cleanliness, safety and sanitation
• Extensive travel to properties, including extended stays, depending on operational needs
• Work a minimum 50-hour work week including nights and weekends
• Regular and in-person attendance; not a remote position
• Punctual attendance; hotel shift schedule is pivotal
• Directly supervise staff of hotel in the absence of other managers
