About the role

  • Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer
  • Direct Reports: QA Managers, QA Senior Managers
  • Position Scope: QA Processes / Quality Standards
  • Location: New Orleans, Louisiana (Relocation Required)
  • As the Regional QA Director for the United States, you will lead a team of QA professionals and project managers across North America.
  • You will be responsible for the quality of services we deliver, ensuring top-notch performance from our QA teams, and overseeing their professional development.
  • You will work closely with key internal teams, including IT, Data, InfoSec, Sales, and Account Management, to deliver exceptional QA services that exceed client expectations.
  • Manage outsourcing relationships and improve our ability to deliver value through QA.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with business goals while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coach and mentor your team, including QA managers and senior managers, to foster professional growth and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Lead a high-performing team of QA professionals, ensuring service quality, retention, and career progression.
  • Collaborate closely with Data, IT, and InfoSec teams, as well as Sales and Account Management, to drive business results and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Manage outsourcing relationships and improve our ability to deliver value through QA.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with business goals while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coach and mentor your team, including QA managers and senior managers, to foster professional growth and deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test plans, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with outsourcing and a proven ability to manage and optimize vendor relationships.
  • Experience in software engineering, ideally with a strong background in QA or software development (video game industry experience is a plus but not required).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss complex technical issues in simple terms while maintaining clarity.
  • Experience in managing multiple teams and coaching managers.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Understanding of business strategy and KPIs, with experience collaborating closely with sales teams.
