About the role

  • Activate and implement new logo accounts and get them up and running on the platform
  • Identify activation and expansion opportunities within your customer base
  • Be responsible for the success of a broad book of business
  • Create and grow relationships with our champions
  • Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota attainment
  • Partner with product marketing to deliver proper messaging and content to commercial Temporal Cloud customers
  • Design and execute programs to support the identification, design and productionization of new use cases with your customers
  • Identify ICP accounts and pursue the right opportunities in the right accounts to drive ARR growth
  • Work closely with our Start Up Program team and Self Sign Up team to ensure success for the right new logo prospects

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in a Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Sales/Business Development
  • A background and passion for advocating on behalf of your customers
  • A mind for technology - we’ll teach you about Temporal and databases, but our customers and product are inherently technical and you should have an aptitude and curiosity to learn about those concepts
  • The ability to act with a high level of autonomy
  • An entrepreneurial mindset - this is a new role at Temporal where you will be required to both deviate from established procedure and often build entirely new process or practices
  • Team player and passion for collaboration
  • Prior experience to tooling like Salesforce, Slack, Outreach, Gong, Common Room
  • Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology is a plus
