About the role
- Enhance, support, and manage applications within Temple Health
- Lead application projects from start to finish and meet project deadlines and goals
- Coordinate development of new features, testing, and implement regular vendor releases and system upgrades
- Resolve system issues and act as expert escalation point for other IT team members
- Provide technical and functional application analysis and define system requirements
- Develop logical data models using best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and TUHS stakeholders and provide training on system functionality
- Configure new features and functionality to increase user productivity within the application
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred
- 5 years experience in related role
- Proficient ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve complex problems involving multiple integrated applications
- General experience and knowledge managing and completing IT related projects
- General experience and knowledge of basic hardware configurations, database management tools, and query language
- General experience and knowledge with analyzing, diagnosing, suggesting, and implementing process improvements
- General experience and knowledge with a strong understanding of data security and privacy standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent
- General experience in Healthcare IT preferred
- Epic Certification (Ambulatory or Healthy Planet) Highly Preferred
- Must be on-site three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health's Women's and Families Hospital
