About the role
- Pricing and Offer Strategy: You'll spend your time balancing strategic planning with hands-on analysis - developing pricing frameworks, testing new offers, and translating data into business recommendations
- Own the end-to-end pricing strategy and offer toolkit - from promotional campaigns to discount frameworks - balancing competitiveness with sustainable performance
- Lead limited-time offer and competitive response strategies, grounded in financial analysis of loading volume, rate, and revenue outcomes
- Develop and present offer recommendations and trade-offs, quantifying impacts against targets to senior leadership for decision making
- Establish a quarterly offer and pricing strategy roadmap aligned to the business KPIs
- Maintain product policies, fee structures, and discount frameworks that support long-term customer value growth
- Partner with TELUS Mobility, Entertainment, and Security and Automation teams to create integrated bundling strategies that maximize cross-product adoption and customer lifetime value
- Offer Execution and Performance Management: Beyond strategy, you'll own the day-to-day execution and performance of our offers, using data to continuously improve results
- Translate approved strategies into execution by partnering with product, systems, and offer configuration teams to define requirements, prioritize delivery, and ensure offers are built, tested, and launched on time
- Manage the new customer acquisition offer suite, continuously optimizing based on performance insights and customer behaviour
- Identify customer and sales channel pain points, implementing solutions to improve loading and revenue outcomes
- Monitor and analyze offer performance metrics, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, marketing, strategy, finance, and/or program management, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sectors
- Experience building financial models and business cases is considered a strong asset
- Strong analytical capability, translating data into actionable commercial strategies and recommendations
- Familiarity with key performance drivers such as loading volume, ARPU, margin, revenue
- Proven track record leading complex commercial initiatives from design through execution
- Strong relationship management skills across pricing, finance, marketing, sales, systems, and product teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities while delivering results
- Excellent project management skills, with experience coordinating multi-stream initiatives
- Compelling storyteller, able to influence senior leaders through clear, fact-based recommendations
