About the role

  • Assist and deploy the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational solutions within the Infrastructure and Operations Build team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value across the Infrastructure and Operations Build domain
  • Ensure platform integrity aligns with technical roadmaps
  • Identify ways to simplify architecture and solutions while avoiding new complexities
  • Lead the delivery of business value and improved user experiences
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, design specifications
  • Provide support, guidance where appropriate whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement, delivery quality, change management, skills development and knowledge sharing
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions in the 'Build Operations domain'

Requirements

  • BSc in relevant discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of automation Intune and SCCM
  • Proficient in web application development using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in cloud platforms
  • Proficient in hybrid infrastructure models, with hands-on knowledge of both cloud and on-premises solutions
  • Proven, demonstratable and evidence-backed experience developing and scripting with PowerShell
  • Understanding of CI/CD development cycle, usage of distributed version control and collaboration tools, such as GitHub Enterprise
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform as well as pipeline tools like GitHub Actions
  • Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure to support business services
