AI Automations & Data Specialist

Controller

• You’ll serve as the outsourced Controller for a portfolio of US-based clients — communicating proactively, participating in calls and meetings, and ensuring every interaction reflects our high standards for service and responsiveness.
• You’ll onboard new clients, building out the accounting processes, systems, and procedures that set each relationship up for long-term success.
• You’ll lead special projects including system migrations, M&A preparation, budget development, chart of accounts redesigns, and other strategic financial initiatives.
• You’ll prepare and review timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports, providing strategic financial guidance to clients around growth, investor reporting, and compliance.
• You’ll lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals — delegating daily tasks, reviewing and approving work products for accuracy and quality, and coordinating workload across multiple client engagements.
• Your work and your team’s work will be cleanly organized in Karbon, our practice management system — a critical tool that sets everyone up for success managing work across multiple clients.

• Manage a pipeline of inbound leads and support the Head of Sales in moving deals forward
• Run discovery calls, build proposals, and close for smaller engagements
• Own HubSpot, ensuring clean data and organized follow-through on outbound activity
• Track open items, draft follow-up communications, and hold senior team members accountable
• Coordinate intake forms, engagement letters, and internal handoffs when a deal closes
