About the role
- Support migration of Indirect Procurement processes from Dalian China to Suzhou and prepare process documentation (process maps and work instructions)
- Become a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement related topics
- Handle and resolve escalated procurement processing issues
- Answer and resolve suppliers, stakeholders and AP queries to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain supplier master data information in relevant systems
- Ensure proper processing of PRs and POs
- Perform compliance checks
- Expedite POs and answer Procurement Helpdesk tickets
- Manage invoice pricing issues and create/maintain Info Records & source lists
- Spot Buy / Requisition Based Sourcing and prepare/process eRFQs
- Negotiate and execute smaller contracts; execute procurement activities in-scope
- Execute projects assigned by Commodity Management; perform desk research and price comparison
- Provide supplier and end-user trainings on tools; savings reporting; PR/PO audit queries and KPI measurements
- Ensure compliance with TE policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and other Indirect Procurement members
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Indirect Procurement
- Experience in a procurement shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units
- Previous experience in shared service environment
- Experience working for a Manufacturing company preferred
- Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel; relevant procurement tools
- SAP PR2, S/4 experience
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and detail-oriented skills
- Strong communication skills
- Very good English & Mandarin language skills in speech and writing
- Ability to work with deadlines and in culturally diverse teams
- Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Good command of other languages is a very important asset
