About the role
- Deliver TD’s Brand promise at a store location by providing legendary customer service
- Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line and platform (cash, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing)
- Open and close personal deposit accounts and perform customer account servicing
- Educate customers on banking products, services and digital/mobile banking tools
- Identify customer financial needs and refer to appropriate team members or partners
- Handle debit/credit card issues, Regulation E matters, and customer authentication
- Utilize TD systems and tools to acquire and deepen customer relationships and manage leads
- Conduct customer outreach (outbound calls, relay SMS), set and host appointments, and manage lead prioritization
- Provide lobby leadership, orchestrate customer walk-in traffic and schedule meetings with bankers
- Ensure compliance with internal/external audit, regulatory requirements and policies (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act)
- Maintain cash drawer custody, follow open/close procedures, act as Dual Control agent when required
- Complete required job-specific and compliance-related training and support team development
- Collaborate with colleagues, act as brand champion, and may train or mentor newer colleagues
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working with customers (can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, military experience) preferred
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Teller experience preferred; required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire
- Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work and work independently within deadlines
- Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Notary License preferred
