Lead a high performing team supporting multi-complex portfolios for Marketing strategy planning and annual portfolio planning
Develop and execute acquisition marketing strategy for consumer lending portfolios (residential lending, credit card, personal loan)
Act as a key contributor influencing business operational, customer experience, product, and risk decisions related to acquisition
Provide people management: hiring, feedback, performance reviews, coaching and developing employees
Oversee and lead complex portfolio campaigns and marketing execution; approve campaigns and ensure governance and stakeholder approvals
Act as strategic partner to leadership on portfolio management and financials; forecast, identify efficiencies and opportunities
Facilitate strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audiences (roadmaps, frameworks, short-to-long term goals)
Set operational team direction and collaborate to execute common goals; focus on 12+ month planning
Manage budgets, revenue and expenditures; execute annual business plan and meet business objectives
Build and protect the brand; apply Brand House to marketing and customer experience
Monitor effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices; recommend improvements and process changes
Ensure compliance with risk management, regulatory requirements and Bank Code of Conduct
Recruit, develop and foster a cohesive, diverse team and act as brand ambassador for the business area
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
10+ years relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
Ability to forecast initiatives and demand to develop annual strategic plan
Skill in managing budgets, P&L and resource allocation
Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities
Skill in talent development and performance management
Ability to exercise sound judgement, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred: Credit card industry expertise
Preferred: Understanding of MarTech, triggers, and journeys as well as data ecosystems to drive scale
Preferred: Demonstrated experience working with multiple external partners, agencies, and business lines to achieve campaign objectives and meet deadlines
