About the role
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery for residential energy efficiency and construction programs
- Lead project execution across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Oversee contract negotiations, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with contractual terms
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project budgets and take corrective action to maintain financial performance
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure QA/QC standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare business plans, work statements, specifications, and financial terms
- Lead customer review sessions to report on cost, schedule, and performance
- Analyze project challenges and develop actionable solutions
- Evaluate market trends and client needs to guide program development
- Direct cross-functional teams including technical, marketing, operations, analytics, and administrative staff
- Support program enhancements and lifecycle strategies to ensure long-term success
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in residential construction or energy efficiency programs
- 5+ years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with California energy regulations, codes, and permitting processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- California residency is required
