About the role
- Conduct analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMarts in conjunction with deep business subject matter expertise to generate relevant analytical insights
- Work independently as a senior analyst/subject matter expert and coach/educate others
- Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end-to-end focusing on short to medium-term issues (monthly-quarterly)
- Develop analysis and proper visualization or presentation to illustrate business trends and identify areas of opportunity
- Produce insights and recommend business actions to support business strategy and solve business problems
- Provide day-to-day support and delivery of analytics and collateral; execute on data requests accurately and timely
- Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs for a given domain
- Contribute to identification of key performance indicators and corroborate proof of concept analysis
- Identify and investigate data/analytics related issues and ensure accuracy of data analysis
- Conduct internal and external research projects; support development/delivery of presentations to management or broader audience
- Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks and escalating non-standard/high-risk activities
- May lead work streams by acting as a project lead/subject matter expert for small scale projects
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
- Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or 3+ year of relevant experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience (higher degree education and research tenure can be counted)
- Experience in non-financial, operational, or compliance risk
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
- Subject matter expert capabilities and ability to coach/educate others
- Ability to develop analysis, visualizations and key performance indicators
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative methodologies to interpret and present data
- Knowledge of internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Ability to lead small-scale project workstreams and act as project lead/SME
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
