About the role
- Oversee planning and execution for audits covering discrete business units or functional corporate areas
- Oversee Audit team performing the audits and provide coaching and feedback
- Contribute to Audit planning process, including audit plans, resource requirements and budgets
- Plan and lead audits, oversee staff on multiple audits, form conclusions, communicate scope/findings to business line
- Perform testing of critical audit areas and review audit documentation
- Oversee findings follow up and issue validation
- Ensure audits are executed and completed in accordance with established standards and within prescribed time, budget and scope
- Act as primary contact with management regarding audit scope, findings and status
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience overseeing planning and execution for audits
- Ability to lead and coach small to medium audit teams
- Ability to perform testing of critical areas of audit and review audit documentation
- Ability to evaluate internal and external risks for assigned business lines/functions
- Domestic travel – Occasional
- Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment
- Responding quickly to sounds, concentration for long periods, reading/writing/comprehending instructions
