About the role
- Oversee planning and execution for audits covering discrete business units or functional corporate areas
- Oversee the Audit team performing audits and provide coaching and feedback
- Contribute to Audit planning process including audit plans, resource requirements and budgets
- Plan and lead audits, perform testing of critical areas, review audit documentation
- Oversee findings follow up and issue validation and communicate scope/findings to management
- Ensure audits are executed and completed in accordance with standards and within prescribed time, budget and scope
- Evaluate internal and external risks for assigned business lines/functions
- Act as primary contact with management regarding audit scope, findings and status
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience planning and leading audits
- Ability to oversee audit teams and provide coaching and feedback
- Knowledge of audit standards and testing of critical areas
- Ability to evaluate internal and external risks
- Ability to perform audit documentation review and findings follow up
- Domestic travel – Occasional
- Ability to perform sedentary work and multiple tasks
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
