About the role

  • Leading TD Securities' U.S. M&A origination and execution efforts across a wide range of private and public energy M&A transactions
  • Supporting coverage teams in both origination and execution of transactions in various energy verticals including upstream, midstream, power, utilities and other associated infrastructure
  • Guiding and developing more junior colleagues through training, mentorship, guidance and leadership by example

Requirements

  • 15+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years as a Managing Director covering the energy sector
  • Deep transaction experience leading execution of large and notable energy M&A transactions
  • Demonstrated coverage skills with experience/trusted senior relationships (CEO, CFO, Board)
  • Experience working at a firm with broad capital markets platform and capabilities
  • Awareness of relevant energy industry issues and collaborative, team-based approach
