Conduct portfolio and transaction analysis under the supervision of the manager to support GI Journey team
Accelerate profitable growth by unlocking initiatives and providing opportunities
Identify emerging trends and accelerate growth opportunities in alignment with business objectives
Summarize and clearly communicate analytical findings to business unit leaders and other stakeholders
Present data-driven insights to the manager to support informed decision-making and drive business growth
Recommend strategies for operational improvements and customer acquisition based on analytical findings
Analyze customer profiles to attract and retain high-value customers
Translate data into actionable insights through hypothesis testing, data collection, analysis, and storytelling for business questions and challenges
Extract, Transform and validate data using SQL, Python, R
Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and POSIT to provide data visualization and reporting

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, or a related field
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
Expertise in analytics, data analysis, and statistical analysis
Experience in the general insurance industry
Bilingual in English and French
Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Python, R)
Strong analytical mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
