About the role

Provide technical leadership across Analytics function with enterprise impact
Develop and monitor financial crime risk models and advanced analytics
Work independently on analysis, design and support of technical data management solutions
Translate business problems into viable data science solutions and extract insights from big data
Visualize and present results to decision-makers at all levels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data science solutions
Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives and act as subject matter expert
Lead, mentor and support team development and knowledge transfer
Ensure programs meet business, regulatory, and governance requirements
Participate in hiring, training, and continuous improvement activities

Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
Graduate degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or 5+ year of relevant experience; graduate degree with ~4 years considered
Hands-on experience in modeling
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
Experience with LLM and knowledge of the AML domain is a plus
Experience in SAS coding and Transaction Monitoring
Experience designing, developing and supporting technical data management solutions
Ability to translate business problems to data science solutions
Ability to visualize insights and communicate to stakeholders
Collaboration with data engineers, software engineers, and analysts
Familiarity with data infrastructure and big data techniques
