About the role
- Manage a team of Fraud Business Insights Analysts
- Ensure team meets loss and customer experience goals for Canadian Personal Banking and Canadian Business Banking (Debit Cards)
- Develop talent and drive timely, high-quality delivery of results
- Own monthly and quarterly performance discussions with business partners
- Accountable for fraud loss targets and customer experience for products or programs
- Review fraud attacks and refine strategy recommendations
- Manage ad-hoc team to address urgent emerging threats
- Participate in fraud loss forecasting exercises and accurately report financial variance during monthly commentary
- Support ongoing partner projects with fraud expertise
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, preferably from a STEM program
- 4+ years' experience in an analytical capacity
- Ability to quickly and independently structure and deliver on new problems not previously tackled by the bank
- Demonstrated analytical, modeling and problem solving skills
- Conceptual thinker, ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusions
- Ability to communicate strategy analysis to both technical and non-technical team members, either verbally or via documentation
- Ability to take initiative and work independently under tight timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and comfort in interacting with all levels of management
- Preferable Experience in fraud management is an asset
- Experience using software tools such as Python, SQL and Excel for data analysis and/or reporting
- Experience with Proactive Risk Manager (PRM), or similar fraud rule engines is an asset
