About the role
- Lead comprehensive market research and strategic analysis across APAC to identify fintech and digital partnership opportunities
- Serve as primary day-to-day account manager for fintech partners, ensuring relationship management and timely issue resolution
- Own and manage a sales pipeline for fintech and digital partnership initiatives, including sourcing and nurturing opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer delivery, account management, marketing, data services, and finance to scale the vertical
- Develop financial models and business cases and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead or support negotiation and implementation of commercial deals, particularly with Mandarin-speaking prospects and partners
- Track and report partnership progress in CRM and communicate with regional and global stakeholders
- Contribute to achieving revenue growth targets and strategic planning to maintain competitive edge
- Adhere to Corporate Security responsibilities: ensure confidentiality, report incidents, and complete mandatory security training
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in financial services, technology, or consulting
- Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles
- Strong understanding of Fintech products and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to synthesize insights from complex data sets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive and adaptable mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; background in engineering, business, or related disciplines preferred
- Fluent Mandarin speaker with strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
- Experience developing financial models and business cases
- Experience negotiating and implementing commercial deals
- Experience managing sales pipelines and using CRM systems
- Must abide by Mastercard’s security policies and complete mandatory security trainings
