About the role

  • Shape strategy, lead negotiations, and influence company growth
  • Be the commercial heartbeat for various business areas — advising and guiding stakeholders through bids and contracts
  • Lead negotiations on high‑value IT and outsourcing contracts with close collaboration with legal team
  • Inspire and support a small team in their development and evolution of the function
  • Draft and shape commercial agreements
  • Assess commercial risk and opportunity during bids
  • Generate commercial components of tender responses
  • Ensure proper commercial governance is applied
  • Oversee contract management activities
  • Resolve contractual disputes in a solutions‑focused way
  • Continually improve processes, templates, and commercial toolkit

Requirements

  • Experience drafting contracts, interpreting commercial terms, or pricing proposals
  • A background in improving commercial processes and governance
  • A strong drive to deliver, with a track record of getting things done
  • Experience leading or mentoring colleagues
  • Confidence negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort working in ambiguity
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed
  • Experience working with customers and managing contract‑related activity
