About the role

  • Designing and delivering a regulatory‑aligned retention strategy for Elderbridge
  • Conducting portfolio segmentation and identifying key customer cohorts, risk drivers and conduct issues
  • Creating actionable insights and developing cohort‑specific treatment strategies
  • Leading commercial negotiations and renegotiating client contracts
  • Developing pricing strategies for lender‑of‑record services and portfolio servicing
  • Ensuring strong governance frameworks, MI, and outcome testing remain robust
  • Acting as SMF1 for Elderbridge, accountable for daily operations and regulatory compliance
  • Presenting progress updates and performance insights to Elderbridge ExCo and Board
  • Driving operational readiness and ensuring smooth implementation of new strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategy development and execution within regulated financial services
  • Strong knowledge of Consumer Duty, conduct risk and FCA frameworks
  • Commercial experience including contract negotiation and pricing strategy
  • Senior leadership experience, ideally with SMF responsibilities
  • Experience leading complex, multi-discipline programmes
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
