About the role
- Designing and delivering a regulatory‑aligned retention strategy for Elderbridge
- Conducting portfolio segmentation and identifying key customer cohorts, risk drivers and conduct issues
- Creating actionable insights and developing cohort‑specific treatment strategies
- Leading commercial negotiations and renegotiating client contracts
- Developing pricing strategies for lender‑of‑record services and portfolio servicing
- Ensuring strong governance frameworks, MI, and outcome testing remain robust
- Acting as SMF1 for Elderbridge, accountable for daily operations and regulatory compliance
- Presenting progress updates and performance insights to Elderbridge ExCo and Board
- Driving operational readiness and ensuring smooth implementation of new strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in strategy development and execution within regulated financial services
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Duty, conduct risk and FCA frameworks
- Commercial experience including contract negotiation and pricing strategy
- Senior leadership experience, ideally with SMF responsibilities
- Experience leading complex, multi-discipline programmes
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
