About the role

  • Oversee the Coach brands work in the North America region.
  • Manage North America projects through the conceptual, design and technical process necessary to open stores on budget and on time.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in region to review stores for merchandising, operational, budget, loss prevention and other needs.
  • Create accurate project schedules with construction team based on design drafting timelines, permits construction timelines from construction partners.
  • Oversee team workload, balancing project priorities based on teams strengths and ability.
  • Deep dive into budget and technical issues to solve any issues that arise during the projects lifetime.
  • Update projects as needed to meet business needs and budget constraints.
  • Review construction and millwork drawings for accurate information, materials and sizing.

Requirements

  • Bachelors – Architecture, Interior Design is preferred.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a retail design position with a focus on international retail work
  • Expert knowledge in North America process including permitting, health and safety and landlord review.
  • Strong experience working with and assessing AOR, due diligence and foundational knowledge to lead NA projects.
  • Strong experience managing team and balancing their and your own teamwork to meet regional deadlines.
  • Experience in retail design and reviewing construction/millwork drawings.
  • Excellent proficiency in ACAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly productive, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally with other business groups.
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Must be able to read and understand architectural and millwork drawings.
