Paralegal

• Provide administrative and litigation support to the Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and General Counsel
• Draft routine letters, notices, pleadings, discovery, affidavits, orders, and other legal documents
• Proofread and edit legal documents and written materials for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain the legal calendaring system and ensure compliance with legal deadlines
• Coordinate gathering information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence for discovery responses
• Make independent decisions and recommendations to supervising attorneys
• Correspond with internal clients, court personnel, local or outside counsel, and opposing counsel
• Answer questions about lease provisions for company departments
• Research business and legal issues for leasing representatives
• Apply state and federal court process and procedure to litigation
• Participate in legal/litigation, legal/leasing, and department meetings
• Review and update status reports
• Perform special projects and other assigned duties

Senior Litigation Paralegal

• Lead and oversee the Company’s REIT compliance activities, including quarterly income, asset, and distribution testing.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and timely filing of federal, state, international, and joint venture tax returns.
• Manage sales tax reporting, personal property tax returns/listings, tax notices, audits, and communications with taxing authorities.
• Evaluate tax credits, incentives, debt allocation matters, and other tax-planning opportunities that support Company objectives.
• Review acquisition and disposition agreements, JV structures, operating agreements, and significant acquisition due diligence for possible tax implications.
• Lead implementation of new tax law and/or IRS guidelines and regulations.
• Serve as a tax resource to leadership and business partners.

VP, Tax

• The GIS & Market Analyst is a key member of the Insights & Analytics team responsible for delivering market intelligence, geospatial analytics, and location-based insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• This role leverages GIS technologies, location intelligence platforms, internal and third-party data sources, and emerging analytical tools to develop actionable insights that inform leasing, marketing, investments, development, and other enterprise initiatives.
• The GIS & Market Analyst maintains and enhances Tanger's geospatial data assets, develops analytical tools and visualizations, and translates complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
• The role is expected to leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation tools, to improve research efficiency, accelerate insight generation, enhance reporting capabilities, and support continuous innovation while maintaining a primary focus on market intelligence, geospatial analysis, and business decision support.

GIS & Market Analyst – Insights & Analytics

General Counsel

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents specifically including SAAS agreements, contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and corporate policies.
• Manage general liability litigation, disputes, bankruptcies, and lien matters, coordinating with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Provide legal guidance to technology, marketing, leasing, field teams, and other departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws, generally, and more specifically, laws related to cyber security and PII.
• Conduct legal research and interpret legal documents to determine company obligations and risks.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and manage claims with governmental agencies.
• Assist with protection and management of company intellectual property including trademarks and copyrights.
• Mentor and support legal and administrative staff; provide guidance and training as needed.
• Review legal documents prepared by team members for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
