About the role

  • Drive revenue growth by building strong partnerships and developing new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Focus on outside sales activities, CRM management, and collaboration across internal and external teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Engage with existing and new clients through strategic account planning process; demonstrate proficiency in all phases of the sales cycle, from lead and pipeline management to closing and retention
  • Build and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline that clearly demonstrates a path to meeting objectives
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, new products, and market conditions to strengthen Tangent’s overall value proposition to customers
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations of company products and services to current and prospective clients, driving customer engagement, brand equity, and revenue growth
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve challenges using effective, win-win solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to improve alignment of priorities and objectives

Requirements

  • Professional sales experience with active application and management of sales processes and tools
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and coordinate activities to achieve goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Ability to deliver presentations to customer groups using PowerPoint and other visual aids and handouts
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 70% of the time
