About the role
- Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new provider organizations, from first contact through full activation.
- Drive outreach and engagement to help bring new practices into the funnel and get them excited to try Tandem.
- Deliver training sessions, onboarding walkthroughs, and help materials tailored to different user types (staff, clinicians, administrators).
- Build repeatable playbooks and self-serve resources to help onboarding scale efficiently.
- Monitor activation and adoption data to identify blockers and intervene proactively.
- Drive usage of key features by helping providers understand how to incorporate them into real-world workflows.
- Partner with ops, product, and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user journey.
- Act as a hands-on, client-facing owner with high autonomy and responsibility.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, customer success, or implementation, ideally in a startup or health tech environment.
- Strong sense of user empathy for providers and staff; familiarity with healthcare workflows or EHRs is a big plus.
- Excellent communication skills — clear, patient, personable, and confident.
- Comfort with ambiguity and context switching; ability to roll up your sleeves and figure things out fast.
- Ability to master new complex technology tools quickly and work with data.
- High NPS with your former teammates.
- Ability to contribute at least 40 hours per week and attend a 5 day in-person training at our NYC office.
- Willingness to work in person in New York (SoHo office) for full-time roles.
