About the role

  • Partner with customers to ensure they achieve tangible business value from OpenAI models via ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand pre-sales needs, guide AI strategy, and identify high-value use cases.
  • Demonstrate value through demos, discovery, use case scoping, and proofs of concept; recommend architectural patterns.
  • Serve as first line for security and compliance questions and escalate complex requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs from pre-sales interactions.
  • Develop and nurture strong customer relationships during evaluation and purchasing.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and collaborate with Sales and GRC teams for seamless pre-sales experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer (or similar) role, managing relationships with large, global, and complex organizations, preferably working with a technical enterprise product.
  • A solid track record of delivering and scaling an exceptional pre-sales customer experience.
  • Experience providing higher level security and compliance support and knowledge of IT security principles and customer requirements for technical B2B SaaS products.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, particularly with executives and leaders.
  • Humble attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and ruthlessly prioritize.
  • Commitment to fostering the safe and ethical evolution of AI.
