About the role
- Manage logistics operations within an assigned service area.
- Monitor delivery performance to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
- Forecast driver and asset needs based on projected delivery volumes.
- Conduct regular visits to terminals to ensure drivers operate in accordance with procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with terminal managers and operational partners.
- Support driver dispatching activities for efficient delivery coverage.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Onboarding teams for successful client onboarding.
- Conduct regular driver inspections and field checks to ensure compliance.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for operational or service issues.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field considered an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or operations management.
- Experience working in last-mile delivery, courier, or transportation environments preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with logistics systems, delivery platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
