About the role
- Lead service and parts operations across all sales channels, including dealers, distributors, fleets, government customers and direct-to-consumer sales.
- Develop and maintain scalable service operations, processes and standard operating procedures to support the company’s current activities while preparing for future growth.
- Oversee repair planning, coordination of technical support and management of service records, including prioritization of the service team’s activities.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and operational processes related to warranties.
- Monitor warranty claims and trends to manage financial exposure and ensure proper documentation and approvals for claims.
- Ensure compliance with regional service regulations and consumer protection laws.
- Develop a support structure that enables dealers, distributors and fleets to service and repair vehicles.
- Create parts stocking recommendations for dealers and distributors.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure fast, accurate and high-quality parts shipments.
- Lead and develop the service and parts team while implementing scalable processes and organizational structure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in service and parts operations within OEMs in the powersports, marine, automotive sectors or related industries.
- Experience supporting dealer and distributor networks for service and parts.
- Strong understanding of warranty administration and service operations.
- Experience implementing and improving operational processes and service support systems.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with sales, engineering and operations teams.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions, with strong organizational and operational management skills.
- Experience in a growing or scaling OEM environment is an asset.
