About the role

  • Participate in state regulatory proceedings relevant to T-Mobile’s interests, with a particular focus on matters before state public utilities’ commissions, including the California Public Utilities Commission
  • Evaluate proposed regulatory, legislative and/or policy changes and develop materials to support advocacy efforts in various forums
  • Advocate before state public utilities commissions in regulatory proceedings
  • Build and develop relationships with state regulators and organizations to represent T-Mobile’s interests and positions
  • Advise business clients on the impact of proposed policy or regulatory changes on T-Mobile
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs colleagues, Legal team members and internal teams on various telecommunications and/or industry issues
  • Deliver easy-to-understand written and oral advice in a timely matter
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required.
  • 2+ years as a practicing attorney with relevant government, in-house or law firm experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience with telecommunications law and policy, in particular FCC/State Public Utilities Commission experience preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
