About the role
- Support the growth and retention of higher education accounts
- Sell to higher education accounts, renew contracts, increase customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth
- Generate new sales opportunities and lead existing customer accounts
- Use contact lists to call leads and generate sales opportunities
- Meet/exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals based on targeted metrics
- Welcome customers to T-Mobile, review service agreements, answer questions, and probe for additional business
- Sustain monthly call goals as expectations instruct
- Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase the customer base
- Complete customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews
- Provide account analysis to resolve upsell and renewal offers
- Monitor and resolve customer issues
- Track individual account activity and results
- Successfully complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches
- Use automated knowledge systems and training tools to deliver outstanding service to meet T-Mobile’s efficiency and quality standards
- Demonstrate positive and collaborative behavior with customers and coworkers
- Maintain high standards for ethical and professional conduct
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 3+ years selling in the Education industry
- 3+ years extensive customer service experience (Preferred)
- 3+ years business markets sales experience (Preferred)
- 3+ years wireless industry sales experience (Required)
- 3+ years telesales or technical sales experience (Preferred)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (Required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel (Required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to compose and deliver presentations
- Problem solving and analysis skills
- Account management and prospecting skills
- Negotiation skills
