Senior Developer

• The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems. The Senior Software Engineer will take ownership of the major systems, drive technical initiatives, and lead by example.
• - Development on DATASCOPE WMS (Warehouse Management System) and daily / weekly report back to Development Manager.

Senior Developer – Team Lead

Accountant

• Act as a strategic business partner to the regional and global finance teams to ensure timely, accurate, and audit-compliant financial reporting in accordance with local and international regulations (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP).
• Lead the review and validation of financial records and reports to ensure compliance with country-specific statutory requirements and corporate policies.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial statements, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards and external audit requirements.
• Provide technical accounting leadership during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring accurate consolidation and seamless integration into group reporting structures.
• Offer expert guidance on revenue recognition practices, particularly in the transition to subscription-based business models and invoicing mechanisms.
• Support balance sheet integrity by leading reviews, ensure proper reconciliations, and maintaining robust support schedules.
• Manage interactions with external auditors, tax advisors and internal audit teams, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any identified issues.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and promote strong governance in financial reporting across geographies

Technical Accountant

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Lead specific processes and aspects of financial operations across global entities, ensuring alignment of accounting and reporting practices.
• Supervise the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SA GAAP and applicable international standards.
• Drive simplification, standardization and automation of operational finance processes, policies, and procedures, including redesigning and improving the flow of transactions and recording in the context of evolving IT technologies, including AI.
• Collaborate with global teams to optimize ERP use (SYSPRO ERP experience advantageous).
• Monitor and improve spend metrics and internal controls across operations.
• Prepare and review management reports, variance analyses, and operational performance insights.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit readiness, and governance standards.
• Develop and mentor finance operations team to achieve performance excellence.
• Partner with other finance leaders to drive cross-functional process integration and improvement.
• Partner with specific business functions and individuals outside of Finance, to ensure alignment, optimal business outcomes and streamlined operating models.
• Represent Finance and Finance Operations within the broader SYSPRO organization, including various forums, workstreams and task forces, to bring the best of finance practices and financial stewardship to the business.

Finance Manager

• Lead IT and ERP projects across the UK and Ireland for a global organisation.
• Deliver projects using SYSPRO UK’s IDEAL methodology and PRINCE2 principles.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans; manage consultancy schedules via SYSPRO’s diary system.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and stored accurately on SharePoint.
• Apply formal change control for scope variations and escalate issues as needed.
• Confirm commercial coverage, manage budgets, and ensure accurate billing and accruals.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and communicate risks, issues, and progress.
• Produce monthly status reports covering budget, risks, milestones, and present updates in review meetings.
• Record billed time, forecast future work, and ensure diary bookings meet commercial and procedural standards.

• Spearhead the Product Management departments’ research and development of the Finance offering and identify the required functionality to ensure that the SYSPRO Finance offering is competitive.
• Lead the relevant multi-disciplinary teams within the organization to ensure that the SYSPRO Finance offering is complete before release.
• Ensure the roadmap is converted into the solution; work with and collaborate with the Development Teams, providing instruction, insight and expertise; provide verification and validation of the work delivered.
• Facilitate the successful release of the software by managing the Go-To-Market process of the Finance offering in collaboration with the Product operations team.
• Support releases by closely interacting with the Product Marketing and Marketing teams and ensuring their requirements are met.
• Develop engaging content based upon industry experience for Sales teams to show product leadership by SYSPRO within target markets.
• Strategically and tactically manage the SYSPRO Finance offering across its full lifecycle, from Conceive to Retire.
• Develop and maintain the External Product strategy for the Finance offering.
• Undertake analysis of the Finance offering and ensure it is competitive; prioritize roll-out of improvements.
• Lead a team of specialists to ensure the offering achieves objectives.
• Find ways to add value to the end user by developing or improving internal processes that directly affect the customer.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve the commercialization of the offering.
