About the role

  • Being an important member of the Pre and Post Sales teams including Professional Services, Sales, Support, and Customer Success you will deliver successful technical integrations of our products at leading Fortune 500 companies and will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Professional Services.
  • You will manage and operate a Kubernetes group, hosting a Sysdig backend
  • You will promote Sysdig technology amongst the world-wide open source and the DevOps community
  • Working off/on ­site with strategic customers, you will provide solutions architecture consulting, technical guidance, knowledge transfer and will establish trusted advisor status
  • You will train and support other team members and indirect channel partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a Professional Services / DevOps Engineer in a similar or related field (container management, cloud management, systems management, PaaS)
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructures as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
  • Proficient in using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate the setup and maintenance of cloud environments.
  • Travel up to 10% (national and international)
  • Previous startup experience
  • Work and manage multiple deployments simultaneously
